For First-Time Seafarer

Enrollment application
Swimming test approval
Copy and Original of either National ID, Birth Certificate, Passport or Foreign Country ID
Criminal or Police history record
Copy of Education certificate (we can accept six grade diploma as a minimum)
Copy of Current health card
Copy of Pregnancy Test (applies to female applicants only)
Two recent color 3cmx4cm photographs (white background, with white neck shirt)
Parents Legal Authorization (only applies for minors under 21 years of age)

Note 1: Before enrolling for the Basic Maritime Safety Course, the seafarer candidate must perform a Swimming Test which includes a blood pressure test

Note 2: After having passed the swimming test to the applicant for Seafarer, he receives the Entry Form FO.R.07 for completing the required information.

Note 3: In the case of the ladies, they must present the pregnancy test before this activity.

4 recent color 3cmx4cm photographs (white background and white shirt)
Original and Photocopy of Seafarer COC certificate as A/B and six-month minimum experience (only applies to deck seafarers)
Original and Photocopy of Seafarer COC certificate as Oiler and six-month minimum experience (only applies to engine seafarers)
Officers navigating on national waters duly recognized by IMO (white list inclusion) can enter the course only if they can prove they possess the title of captain, first or second officer, as well as have travelled a minimum of 5,000 nautical miles.
