THE GOVERNMENT OF HONDURAS AND THE FLORIDA-CARIBE CRUISE

LINES ASSOCIATION (FCCA)




At the request of the government of President Juan Orlando Hernández, in 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of Honduras and the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Lines Association (FCCA), with the purpose of generating job opportunities for thousands of Honduran sailors on board the cruises of this association.

REQUIREMENTS

TO BE PART OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR THE CRUISE PROGRAM

I. Be over 18 years of age


II. English language knowledge

at an intermediate or advanced level.
The candidate must pass the English exam in the Merchant Marine.

III. Maritime Training

a. Basic Course on Maritime Safety. Lps. 1,100.00
b. Awareness for all Seafarers Lps. 600.00
c. Passenger Ship / Ro Ro. Lps. 600.00
d. Crowd Control Lps. 600.00
and. Emergency management and human behavior Lps 600.00
F. Protection awareness for all Seafarers with Assigned Tasks Lps 600.00

IV. Hospitality industry and technical training (INFOP)

a. Hospitality industry / service: cook, waiter, waiter, barista, bartender, housekeeper
b. Technical training: Electrician, carpenter, plumber, plumber, welder, refrigeration and air conditioning technician, bricklayer, upholstery.
